Padhamam Havei Mangalam: This Navkar Mantra is the foremost.

Navkâr Mantra (णमोकार मंत्र) is the fundamental mantra in Jainism and can be recited at any time of the day. While reciting this mantra, the devotee bows with respect to humans who have cleared their gathi karmas (Arihantas), fully liberated souls (Siddhas), spiritual leaders (Acharyas), teachers (Upadyayas) and all the monks(Sadhus). This is worship of the virtues of all the supreme spiritual people instead of just worshipping one particular person. The Namokâr Mantra does not mention the names of Tirthankaras and Siddhas. Instead, at the time of recitation, a Jain remembers their virtues and tries to emulate them. In this mantra Jains bow down to these supreme spiritual personalities, and, therefore, it is also called Namaskar (show of respect) Mantra.

Why dont soups fit in India???

Have you guys ever wondered why does soups is considered as a starter whenever we go out in a restaurant ....??
Well its a desperate attempt made by the food giants of India to make soup fit in the indian staple diet.
Soup were introduced in India way 2 decades back when India was still coming out from its post bofor's scam...people or here the common man was finding hard to have 2 meals a day ,so where would soup come in his life...
You know that on an average every one in india will have milk with parantha or toast daily...no one does a heavy breakfast in the morning because he takes lunch at 1 or 2 which consists on dal, chapati, sabzi and rice ...so here also no soup...
On an average soup holds the same value as milk does with kids ....no kid likes milk ...so when they keep kids as the target audience in their mind..its gonna back fire ...
we cannot create a space for any product in the real market...the thing is replacement...So whatever gets replaced with it must be worth its same value...
You wont ask a person to get up at 3 o'clock in the morning to have soup...

So the best thing that can be done is to change the target audience from kids to single working professionals and adults ...who have no time to actually cook and who are really health and weight conscious...
Also most people in India have dinner at 8.30 to 9 ...So the post lunch and pre dinner time can be used effectively for a soup which is heavy to consume but can be good appetizer...

Soup a staple food of West is yet to find a place for it in India...

Dis is it for now...

New Classic

A new attempt in redefining classic:

Ever try to reach for something
But it's someone else's dream?
Every step that you take forward
It takes you right back where you been

And then when you least expect it
And you've tried about everything
Somebody hears your opinions
Somebody cares what you see

You woke me up,No longer tired
With you I feel inspired
You help me find my fire

You're the new classic,You're the new PYT
Stands for paid, young and
Taking on the world from the driver's seat

You look so classic, fantastic
When you're on that floor
Bring the beat back once more
Let me see you do that

Oh trying to do it right
No rehearsals,It's your life
If you're doing this crazy dance
Cause your making these crazy plans

It's just this is not a test
You put in work to be the best
It's a classic take,

On a brand new game
Before the needle drops
They're gonna know your name

When it gets old don't lose the light
You're cold, I'll warm you up
Your fire is hot enough, enough, enough

You're the new classic,You're the new PYT
Stands for paid, young and
Trying everything just to touch your dreams

You look so classic, fantastic
Oh when you're on that floor
Bring the beat back once more
Let me see you do that

It's become so hard,For me to be surprised
You're bringing back the real me
No judgment in your eyes

Cause when I dance with you
It's how I speak the truth
Just classic when we met
Now you make me new

You're the new classic,You're the new PYT....

Manjushri Marah

Manjushri Marah ( मञ्जुश्रीमरह) in its literal sense means the destruction of the glorious and the lovely ones.
During the recent times , I realized one thing for sure, When you start feeling that this thing Best...
Ur tym begins for ur end...
Now the question arises why??
Well , its really simple, radical, reasonable and logical...
When you dnt knw nethin... you start cravin for it 2 knw and wen u knw it u feel dat "Ahh wat is this stuff its bulls**t... I can do better den dis..."

One incident reminds me ...I got a new motorcycle in 11th std ...Used 2 drive it very safely..
very carefully...Never allowed ne1 to even touch it also...
I washed it everyday...keepin every part dustfree...
Over the tym went , I gave my gardener the job 2 clean my vehicle but used 2 keep a watch on him...
Nd now my Bike is in the worst condition ....I have got no interest in it... Whether it is clean or nt...
Its just a means of transport to me...Sumtyms I am not even aware that my vehicle has to be treated well...I give full acceleration and load it wid full throttle regardless of wich gear is it put in2 ....

So the moral here lies dat der is no need to b attached with the materialistic pleasures of lyf...
The real lyf is 2 meet people...physically nt just virtually....the less u socialize the more u become mechanical...

I had been addicted 2 computer for a long tym b4 I realized its actual worth... The outside curves now mean more 2 me than the cursor and the mouse(many ppl wud nt agree to it still)...

Dis is it for now...

Akshay Patra

Akshayapatra (Sanskrit: अक्षयपात्र) meaning inexhaustible vessel, is an object from Hindu mythology. It was a wonderful vessel given to Yudhishthira by the Lord Surya, which held a never-failing supply of food to the Pandavas every day.
Later during Bhoodan movement, Vinoba Bhave again introduced this concept to invite people to collect a fist full of food grain,  every day which could later be shared with the poorest people in the neighborhood. He particularly emphasized on collecting just one fist full and that too by children’s hands, because he believed doing it consistently every day will inspire people to be compassionate and inculcate the habit of sharing with others. It then became a phenomenal act of service which was adopted by millions of households all over India. Power of doing small things with great love couldn’t have been expressed better.

Taking it further, another small yet beautiful effort is started by Jyotsna Parmar, a 23 year old, compassionate warrior who lives in Ram-pir-na-tekra , Ahmedabad’s biggest slum. She is a primary school teacher, social worker and a filmmaker. Apart from teaching filmmaking to the kids in slums she also organizes, various film screenings in the local community to create awareness on social causes.
Her recent project, ‘Akshay Patra’ is to inspire people to collect one rupee daily (not more) in a piggy bank made of reused plastic water bottles and further use it to help and support every day heroes who are doing random acts of kindness. Some one asked her ” what if i give you Rs 365 all at once instead of saving it every day for a year?” to which she simply replies ” imagine this empty bottle to be like your mind, every day when you will put one rupee in it knowing it will do good, you will be sending out a compassionate and gratitude thought to your mind and slowly your heart and mind will be filled with love.”
The bottles are hand painted by street children, you can check out their other beautiful creations here. You can also collect a ‘Akshay patra’ from Seva Cafe in Ahmedabad or make one where you are.
Emptying yourself one coin at a time : )

sAmAsYa-pUrTi !!!! what is it ????

Samaysya-purti (Devanagari : समस्या-पूर्ति / literally satisfaction of a problem) is a class of Indian literature, specially popular in Sanskrit, but also known in other languages.
In Samasya-purti, the problem is posed by providing part of a metrical composition. The challenge is to compose the rest of the composition.
Some scholars have taken the first line of each verse of Kalidasa's Meghadutam as the samasya, and have composed the rest.
In classic Sanskrit literature there is a genre termed samaysya-purti, where an initial line is given (often taken from existing classics), and new compositions are written to conform to it. Bombay Vikings has sometimes taken this approach of some of its most memorable music.
For example, the original classic Bollywood songs from Barsaat (1949):
Hawa Mein Udata Jaaye Tera Lal Dupatta Mal Mal Ka
was expanded as a bilingual song:
Hawa Mein Udata Jaaye Tera Lal Dupatta Mal Mal Ka(2 Time)
Dil Pe Waar Chalaye (Tera Lal Dupatta Mal Mal Ka)Oh Oh
Only Wish I Ever Wished
Is If That I could Make Her Mine
She Wont Find Any Better Lover
Every Beat Of My Heart Will Rock Her Oh yeah Oh yeah
Bombay Vikings has used "Samasya-purti" many a times in his music and that too very effectively.
Old classic music have a rejoicing effect on our minds so continuing a song from an old one has an nostalgic effect and also catches your mind very quickly.
Some of his songs are :
  • Zara Nazron Se Kehdo (2006)
  • Chhod Do Aanchal (2004)
  • Hum To Anything Karega (2004)
  • Hawa Mein Udati Jaaye (2002)
  • Woh Chali (2001)
  • Kya Soorat Hai (1999)
-> Another classic and recent example can be taken of the movie Love Aaj Kal whose song Twist has the starting of the illustrious Naagin tune....
->For that fact even the Showman Raj Kapoor used to present music of his forthcoming movies in his every movie.
->"Its rocking" from the movie "Kya Love Story Hai" (2007) Video has the starting
Ude jab jab zulfe teri,Ude jab jab zulfe teri
    Kavario ka dil machle....
it has d samasya-purti of the classic old movie Naya Daur....
So everywhere whenever we try to make something new ...and make sure its original , we borrow it from our culture or some history which is not exactly the same but yes partly inspired !!!!
this is it for now...
